Whistleblowing Policy and Guidelines

Arbolus is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. This Whistleblowing Policy aims to report extreme concerns regarding unethical behaviour, fraud, or any violations of company policies without fear of retaliation. Reporting Procedure: A confidential and secure reporting channel is provided here for all of you to raise concerns anonymously if you feel uncomfortable disclosing your identity. While submitting a report, you can: Select a category that best defines the case. Describe the situation, and upload any supporting files if needed. Save the unique password provided with the confirmation of the submission to follow up on the case. Investigation and Response: Upon receiving a report, the company will promptly investigate and address the concerns raised. Fair Process: Investigations will be conducted impartially and fairly, respecting the rights of all parties involved. These reports go directly to a secure, ticketing-like channel where only designated case managers can review submissions and respond confidentially.

You can request the erasure of your Personal Data and your Arbolus Expert account here. Be sure to use the email address associated with your Arbolus Expert account. Alternatively you can request erasure by contacting privacy@arbolus.com. If you wish to enforce your UK GDPR, GDPR, or other data privacy rights, you may email privacy@arbolus.com at any time.

How do I opt-out from Arbolus messaging on LinkedIn?

Arbolus conducts outreach via LinkedIn and other platforms in order to offer consultation opportunities to prospective Experts in relation to projects it may be facilitating on behalf of its Clients. When an Arbolus conducts outreach on LinkedIn via its associates, at the first point of contact, Arbolus provides a data privacy notice which includes the ability for the receipt to either express that they are not interested in the specific project, or otherwise to permanently opt-out from all future communication from Arbolus. If you have received any communication from Arbolus and wish to permanently opt-out from future communication, simply reply permanent opt-out, or contact privacy@arbolus.com.

How do I get paid for my consultation, update my bank details, follow-up payments and download my invoices?

Our payment terms are 30 days from the day of the engagement. The steps involved in the payment process are very easy and require little time: You will need to register your payment details on the "Payment" section of your profile on Arbolus: this includes personal information and bank details. We will use these details to process the payment through our payout platform within 30 days of the consultation. Please allow up to 3 working days for the payment to clear in your bank account. We will use the same bank details for following work with Arbolus and you may update your bank details directly in the "Payment" section of your profile. You will also be able to download your self-billed invoice 3 days after your engagement, check the payment status and payment dates:

The waiting time depends on the client’s needs, industry trends, and the broader economic cycle. For every project, we actively source experts from our platform, so you’re always considered. To improve your chances of being selected, keep your profile complete and highlight your key expertise. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as a company wants to speak with you. In the meantime, the platform is free to use, so waiting for the right project won’t cost you anything.

I have already created my profile. What's next?

Once you've set up your profile, you are part of our community.  Every time a company asks us to find subject matter experts for a project, the first thing we do is that we search among this community the profiles that correspond to the project.  We cannot tell you how long it is going to be for you to be part of a project, but you will receive a notification via email to inform you if a company wants to speak with you. In the meantime, the platform is free of charge for experts, so it doesn't cost anything to wait for a project!
